Both man if you go Mto rout you get a choice of 5 button & matrials to pick from they look very nice & function but make sure to buy a hook other wise they are pain in ass.

The "pain in the ass" part  was actually my first thought upon viewing the photo...

Do they fit a bit a loose?

I'd love to see a photo of this/these "hook(s)" ...with out seeing them of course, I myself would worry about bending the heck out of them.

But yeah...Interesting pair of boots...Do you have plans on what you're going to pair those with or is it anything goes at this point?

Take your regular stcrispin size. Hook you can buy from leffot but I just use EB button boot hook nothing special. You won't bend them.

All look great!  Do you mind me asking approximately when you placed these orders?  I'm still waiting on a pair from early September...and I'm not sure if things are very backed up at the factory or there is an issue with just my pair.

As I told one of my colleague, if you plan to visit your married mistress, do not take your button boots, otherwise you will end up running out barefooted, when her husband shall come home :rotflmao:.

My experience (from EB) is that you need sometime to learn how to use the hook, the buttons and holes needs sometime to work properly and still you will need a bit more time than with laces.

On the other hand, in my experience they are more like slippers, may be my most comfortable shoes. A bit loose but perfect.

Thanks you.

I ordered my pair at the end of September, the lead time have taken longer these days due to it's popularity no doubt.

I would contact the retailer just to check on the status. Hope you get yours soon.

Order was placed on mid November & came in few days ago. It looks like hit or miss. Some stuff came in early some has not.

Totally agree with you on that one. Problem is too many shoes lol & less time to practice button boot. But yea soon or later will hopefully get there. Took my regular size & they are very comfortable biggrin.gif

Thank you both!  I've heard that my pair has been shipped from the factory and is on its way.  I'm assuming there was some kind of mix-up or other delay like you both mention.  I'll just be happy to receive them and I will certainly post photos for you all.

Also I don't mean to be negative but, someone reading this forum took the pleasure of sending their interpretation of my previous post(s) to Phillip directly. To eliminate any confusion, I have his email and can contact him when I need to. Otherwise, I depend on my retailer to take care of and ultimately be accountable for my orders.  I don't need any other unsolicited assistance, I would just like to have open conversation with other members on this forum about these products, :fistbump:.

can't wait to see them when you get them!

Newly arrived; Mod 401 with heavy broguing. Gave them a quick toe-burnishing right out the box. Pardon the poor iPhone quality, these arrived a day before Philip's trunk show in Toronto which gives me very little time to ponder over what I should order next.
