St. Crispin's Appreciation Thread - Page 35

Saint Crispin's trunkshow in Stockholm yesterday:

I ordered a pair of chukkas (116) in chestnut brown calf (CRU603), will be ready beginning of July smile.gif

It seems St cripins had improved their last, I can see some sexy sleek once from the table e.g. gator, patent...etc
post #513 of 2445
I wouldn't call that an improvement, I'd call it adding to their lineup.

I also ordered the 116 but in 609B CRU leather (blackish brown).
It was very nice to meet up with Phillip, he was very friendly indeed!
I also had a good look at the different lasts, I like the classic the most, Riva ok (fit was almost identical to classic). The chiseled or Novello was not for me.

I agree, classic last is the way to go.

609B will be great on the 116!

No, it isn't. It's a regular grain leather with what I would call a medium-fine grain structure. The SC shrunken leathers have a much bigger texture pattern to them.

You can see the shrunken leather here in the first picture on the lacing part of the shoes vs the INCA on the pair in the next picture below.

Cheers

Thanks! Yeah, big difference. The shrunken leather also seems uncoated

btw, I love the shoes on the bottom.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Saint Crispin

They are the bespoke shoes made for Jun Kuwana (or at least it is the same design)
