Of course i might just order another pair during the trunk show, but i definitely would prefer to wait till i've received my first pair to decide if i wanted more.

there is no problem with that at all. Then you will get to meet with Philip and discuss future pairs, get properly measured, etc. He may even suggest to get you a custom last for the future pairs. If you have your new shoes by the time of the trunk show, you could even take them with you to have him evaluated the fit further.

Quite dangerous if you ask me. You'll be addicted and end up ordering more.  Joking aside, there’s no harm in attending. That’s the whole point of trunk shows. Getting familiar with the people behind the products and asking questions about fitting and getting measured up.  Try on many lasts and the seeing the leathers and finished products in real life worth more than 1000 words & pictures.

I completely agree. yes it is dangerous but is well worth the experience. You probably will buy more anyway, so make sure that they fit you just right. haha

Don't do last adjustment. Go for a custom last with trial shoes.

It actually saves money to get a custom last and trial shoe because you only pay once.

You pay the last adjustment fee every time if you don't get the custom last so I was told that once you buy two or three pairs you are already saving money with a custom last.

In addition, it's always best to have a trial pair of shoes to narrow down the fit.

I was talked out within trial shoes/last by Philips and just did last adjustment instead. The resulting fit is rather unimpressive.

Oh, and don't expect the lasted trees from SC to be closely lasted either.

I have a pair of StC with PRET adjustment. If I wanted a personalized last now, how would that work? Meaning I would not need to be measured again correct?

Thanks for posting the picture @gusvs, planning an order of the 105 and 539, thinking of going with CRU 608 for both. The 609 seems a little dark, I wanted to see 607 but doesn't seem like anyone orders it much.
