Since no SC dealer in my neck of the woods I contacted Mr Philipp Car directly and explained my shoe size in different other makers. He suggested a size with no warranty of fit as I had not tried the pair on before but I took the risk and am glad as they fit perfectly!

Icing on the cake, I ordered the shoes in Sept , announced delivery was mid Nov but I received them end of Oct!

So without further ado here are some (lousy) pictures of my boots

Mr. Pink, thank you sir for the style number. Do you have any experience with SC cap toe balmorals, and do you believe the extra cost of hand-welting justifies their high price over similarly styled shoes?

I have two pairs of their captor balmorals. Intend to get more. I pretty much settled on only buying from them from this point forward. I don't think the slight extra cost only has to do with the hand welting, but to me the extra attention they give to each customer and the quality all around justifies the price paid.
