For the record, doing lots and lots of pushups will not make you, or anyone else, look like Herschel Walker. Pushups train muscle endurance, and not strength (unless you are a weakling to begin with). I train for strength and muscle endurance - I do lots of bodyweight exercises a couple of says a week, but I also lift with heavy weights (5x5, etc).
Yup. It has helped me keep my muscle mass though as I haven't had a gym membership for months.
