This was a gift from my boss. I kept it for a few months before I just sold it. It is pretty solid. Made in USA. You can't beat the quality. If I needed a sterling silver money clip I would buy a...

I just picked this up and I am pretty pleased. Just what I expected. I am pleased with the Bark. However, I wish it was a little darker. A great deal for $35. Comparable to other belts in the...

Personality Plays Role in Body Weight: Impulsivity Strongest Predictor of Obesity

Not surprising. I've gotten into arguments with friends and relatives who make excuses about why they're overweight. I've heard a lot of excuses: genetics to some even claiming that their jobs are highly stressful which they think releases a hormone making them gain weight. I know these people and they're the type to snack while they work all day.

I do agree that the cortisol hormone can make a difference but it won't make as big a difference as if they watch what they eat. I know that these people eat out lunch everyday and dinner once a week out with coworkers as well as eating junk food at work.
I think the psychological "eating when stressed" thing is just like a bad habit. They've done it so long that it has become normal to them so breaking out of the routine is hard for them.

It took me a few weeks to break out of the snacking on junk food habit. By that time I had gained a ton of weight. I used to work at an office where all the junk food, soda, etc was free. The bosses wanted people to stay in during lunch. Quite the temptation. Jars filled with Goldfish, bags and bags of Doritos, popsicles, ice cream, weekly pie parties. The office assistants would pass a list around where you could request anything - cheese, pudding, microwave lasagna. Temptation Office.
