I'm going to be in a rural setting for college, and I want some cool new shoes. I dress pretty well and so does most the students; Tommy Ton's posts on GQ and his blog serves as my fashion inspiration. wow...I thought everybody else might be overreacting.....but no, those are all really terrible. If you need nice looking $100 shoes buy some Desert boots or something like that.

You're pretty much not going to get consensus approval on shoes around here. I must agree with all above, however. Aesthetics aside, those shoes aren't even well made. Look at the horrible job they did attaching the sole to the upper.

For $100 there are many better choices out there. Look at Doc Martens or Clarks, at least they'll last you a few years.

I've seen some Cole Haans on sale for under 100 as well and Sebago is usually sub-100 too--both good options.
