Another clothing forum that used to be focused on high-end tailored and bespoke clothing but gradually became anything goes.

These are fairly good numbers, given the recent downturn. Screencap taken just now:

Well with the bad scrolling, page jumps 5 minute plage loads and scripts running trying to extract every bit of information Huddler can discover including my great grandmother's blood type, this site is pretty much unusuable. Nice way to kill a community- supposedly hits are down 30%. If something's not done this place will be history in a few months.

Feel free to look me up at LL. smile.gif

This is true.

The people that post on this forum are the only people I can relate to. frown.gif

i think the new layout is not that inviting, i beleive this is my 1st or 2nd post since the new system started, also any thread that has profanity is now blocked on my work comp, so its pretty much useless to try and surf the forum. The b&s defintitely needs to go back to the old way, albeit with more of a pay system to pay for the forum.

Monetization? More power to 'em, man. You think they should provide this service for nothing?

Hang in there, Metlin. It's only going to get better. For one thing, it takes time to get used to a new format. For another, the mods are soliciting advice from members and working to improve the site.

call me crazy, but i like the new system a lot. runs smoothly, much less spam, cool added features and visually less boring. as far as the ads on the right, i dont even notice them anymore. though thats probably not good for our wonderful affiliates.

basically, im cool with SF version 2.6.03.4

Well I favour the old phpBB style boards, this does load faster.

It's an adjustment none the less, and so be it.

A forum need not be too flashy to attract visitors, and comparitively this is actually a really good looking board. Case in point is /b/, which is ugly as crap but certainly has a faithful fandom.

As far as the whole monetarization issue, I'd rather they make a small amount of coin of the commerce on the site. They provide a service to people here and deserve compensation for that service.

gmail still offers "classic version" *hint*hint

(actually, not even sure if gmail even does that, but some site I often visit does)

The underlined titles to threads makes them hard to read.
The person who designed this new format has no idea about graphic art- it's way to cluttered.
A good graphic artist understands color, flow, font styles, words for use by customers and pictures so customers can quickly find what they are looking for.
The lack of graphic art in the creation of this web site makes it a disaster.
Computer programmers don't understand the need for other skills.
What computer programmer understands, or even knows graphic art?
Computer programmers make the worst websites because they don't understand the visual.
The format for this should be dumped.

I used to visit the site at least half a dozen times a day. Now it's maybe once a day. Maybe I'm just a pagan sucked in a creed outworn, but all this newfangled stuff - esp B and S - is just leaving me cold
