Right above the first thread, in big bold type. They're just in a visually different "box" from the thread listing, so it takes a minute to re-adjust.

I'm not an old hand, but I think with the exception of B&S (which is admittedly broken, so I reserve judgement until it "works") it's fine. Better in some cases.

I find that I don't browse through the forums at all. The extent of my visits is clicking "my posts" and maybe clicking on something interesting that catches my eye on the home screen.

I'm not a big fan but I think they just need some time to work out the bugs/kinks and it'll be back flowing smoothly again.

in the meantime, I find the format rather clumsy and have spent maybe half my usual time here...

I like the new SF format. Horses for courses.

More worrying to me is the absence of content I find interesting. But SF's focus was shifting (had shifted?) well before the changeover.

is there a way to "hide" the right column with the picture of the shoe/coats and the featured sponsors?

I find it very hard to surf at work primarily because of the right column. Please give me an option to hide that right column!!!

I don't mind the ads and the effort to make some money, SF has been a great resource and home to us all.

What is keeping me away (for the most part) is that it's slow as hell. Took me 30 seconds for this thread to load page 2. I used to pop styleforum.net in my URL bar and boom there it is, now I feel like I'm nearly back to using 56k. Also, there is a little too much space between buttons and little things like that, it just generally looks less put together and less professional than before (even though it was just a regular forum).

Eh, I still try to check in, but it's more hassle than it's worth most of the time.

I came along just before the change. The new format is not as bad as what many make it out to be. If you have been here for years, the change is probably more uncomfortable. However, I do feel for the guys on B&S, especially if they were making a buck.

IF you don't like it, offer some suggestions. The owners seem to be very open to the member input.

Do you think the new layout will attract more buyers to the partners?

The best way to promote them is when a senior member endorses their products as Kent Wang for example ...

Do you feel the need to click on the right hand massive logos more than before?

It will be interesting to know if their sale volume went up...

Visibility is good but not enough to make a buck or many bucks...

not working the best. I can hide the sponsors (at the top) by dragging the side in but it throws things off towards the bottom when the posts go out further to the right. i'll probably have to make do.

....although my suggestion would be to give us an option to minimize the sponsors on the right column.
