What headphones do you use? - Page 7

I think I wrote in this that I use the bose in-ear headphones. They are ok, but I am not completely satisfied with them. I hate carrying around bulky isolation headphones, however the bose are the only in ears that I can get to somewhat fit in my ears comfortably.

Also, is it just me, or is listening to music on an iphone even at lossless kind of shitty?

If you're balling shure has earphones where they send you a mold so you can have a custom earphone completely fitted to your ear.

I find iPhone music quality to be pretty good

There are a few companies it seems that does the molding thing. I am sure a variety of prices too. Not sure.

As far as iphone music goes, I think the DAC kind of sucks.

Amazing headphones.

I need some new foam for my Grados as well. Just have the cheap SR60s but they are pretty incredible headphones for the price. Have had these for 5 years or so and only thing wrong with them is the worn out foam, and I use them 4-6 hours a day at work 5 days a week.

I too have been a long time Shure fan, but I hear the Klipsh earphones are now awesome.

Pretty amazing how good cheap headphones are nowadays. Picked up a set of JVC IEM buds for a trip for $30 that features carbon nanotube drivers and they sound great. A tad shrill, but bass extension is amazing. Due to the brightness, a bit fatiguing for rock and dance, but work very well for classical and vocals.

My UE10s died on me again. Switched over to Shure 425s sound pretty good. Still need to break them in.

I use Monster Pro Turbines (Copper) and prefer them to the UE and Shure IEM's I've owned in the past.

I also own Sennheiser 598's for the times I want to listen to a full sized set of headphones.
