What headphones do you use? - Page 10

P7's on the go (contemplating to change to PM-3's though), HD650 and Burson HA-160D at home. ATH R70X ordered last week, hopefully they're on par with the HD650's but more comfortable.

I've had my PM-3s for 3 months or so now and really love them. My computer setup is the PM-3s with a Yulong D200. (I have some Adam F5s hooked up to the Yulong too for when I'm not using headphones.) For travel, I use the AudioQuest Dragonfly and either the Oppos or Etymotic ER-4 earbuds.

Went to a pretty awesome audio shop, tried a ton of IEMs. Settled on the zero audio bx500. Was like $50. Very happy.

The headphones I'm using now:
Grado GS1000i, Grado RS1i, Grado sr325is.

If I'm in same room while wife is watching TV:
AKG K553 or Martin Logan Mikros90, Bose Soundlink OE

On the go: Plantronics GoBeat wireless

At work: Audio Technica ATH-M50X

Not using:
Grado SR60, 125e; AKG 601 & 701, Audio-Technica ATH-AD700

I think I have a problem.

By no means an audiophile so my Monoprice ear buds do a great job.

Get the PS500e from Grado. They are amazing. I have most of the line including the RS-1i, 325, 125, 80, and 60. Had the RS-2 and know the PS1000 and GS-1000 very well. The new e series is great.

My Shure E2Cs finally bit the dust after almost 15 years of travel, exercise and abuse. Any suggestions for in-ear phones? I was looking at the Shure 215s, not seeing a clear front runner in the ~$100 range.

I got a pair of Bedphones recently. I have a hard time falling asleep and watch ASMR videos on Youtube to help. I tend to sleep on my side and they ended up working for me. They took some getting used to at first, since they don't actually go in your ear.

Ended up with Shure 425. Not perfect, but Guitar Center had them at 20% off Amazon all in. I figure I can sell them for them if I don't like them.

Booze will do the same trick - though an annual liver function test might be off-putting to even those with good health insurance.

I am reviewing some nice new earbuds from Cardas, the A8s. Very nice sound so far.

I also recommend the RHA T20i.

AKG K452 are my normal headphones - good sound, band that goes over the head messes up my hair :-(

First time on this part of SF so I am hoping I am posting in the right spot.

I need a pair of noise cancelling headphones. I need them to block out nearby construction noise when sleeping. I will also use them when flying, but I really need to be able to block out construction noise (hammering, noise from cement truck mixers, etc.).

I am considering two Bose models:
Bose Quiet Comfort 25 (over the ear): https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1075804-REG/bose_715053_0010_quietcomfort_25_acoustic_noise.html

and
Bose Quiet Comfort 20 (in ear): https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1168269-REG/bose_718839_0010_quietcomfort_20_for_ios.html

But I am open to other suggestions and certainly effective, lower priced options.

Can anyone offer a recommendation? Wondering if in ear would be easier to sleep with? Will either be effective in blocking out construction noise, etc. Thanks in advance.
