would LV, Gucci and D&G be part of your horror list?
Any brand that really disgusts you is welcome!

This is an ongoing list, you can suggest more tacky brands and I will update the list.
At the moment the brands that are included on the top ten list appear in no particular order. Styleforum members can vote for the most tacky brand ever here!

A&F is a luxury brand? I think not.

I'd go with Versace, Cavali, and then a whole pile of other guys.

I cannot say I 'hate' any particular brands/designers. Generally speaking, I don't like cheap clothing (from 'big box' stores), but such has its places.

I suppose if I had to choose three brands I have the least affection for, I would choose:

1. Coogi (made in China). I dislike this version (opposed to made in Australia) because it's (typically) garish and I cannot understand why it exists.

2. Armani Exchange (A/X). Why did Armani think it was a good idea to cater to logo-obsessed high-schoolers?

And yes, I understand SF rejects Armani in general, although I personally like the label (Collezioni and Giorgio).

And to that I say I reject your Ralph Lauren!

*ahem*

3. True Religion - I simply don't care for the name. I'm content to leave it at that.

In which case neither is D&G, what the OP suggested.

Both of which I consider gaudy, obnoxious, strictly for brand whores, and are certainly on my hate list.

Yes that's what I meant.

Genuine Abercrombie & Fitch(A&F) is certainly priced like a luxury brand here in China, same with Dolce & Gabbana(D&G). Maybe different elsewhere.

I think Armani is asking for it by having all these different lines. Emporio, Exchange, Armani Jeans. All with obnoxious branding.

I actually despise the sight of that 'GA' bird/phoenix/eagle thing logo. 500
Fortunately it's on a department store billboard, so it will get changed sooner or later.

I don´t think the logo itself looks so bad

LV branded products are some of the most ostentatious and obnoxious.

I could probably name about 30, but I'd say:

Versace - beyond ugly

Ed Hardy - help

Stacy Adams - square tipped wearers of the world unite
