Which probably makes them 11.5 since almost everything runs large on his site.

marked size 11
i dare say they might even be closer to a full size 12 ...

i bought another pair of different paul stuart shoes at the same time and sized down a full size.... and even then the shoes are too big

It's a recurring problem. Obviously, no reason to complain at these prices, but I do think Ron should pay a little more attention to getting the sizes right.

I've had good luck with his sizing. Think I've snagged 7 or so pairs and they've all fit TTS.

Same here. Six pair; all have fit pretty much true to size. I've actually run into far worse sizing issues with Allen Edmonds.

4 pairs, one a bit narrow but otherwise all tts. And this is across 4 different types: bal boots, Chelseas, chukkas and bluchers.

well i'm not a size 11 so i can't begin to tell you whether the paul stuart woven monks are true to size or not
just extrapolating based on my other paul stuart shoe purchase

Any chance some are listed at their UK sizing? If the 11 is fitting like a 12, I dare say it may be an 11 UK....just a thought.

Keep in mind there was more the one shoemaker doing the Paul Stuart shoes. I know Grenson, Gravati and Magnanni made many of the Steals l and Deals shoes.

I have to say Ron is very good with the sizing (i.e., he noted EU sizing for the MG shoes). Recently people are talking about shoes being too big, yes, from my experience with the PS Italian shoes, they are 'looser' than the subjective standard size. Conversely, my experience with the PS GMP shoes is that they are too narrow.

Much of the shoes left on the site are from Italian houses that do not have well-known sizes so it is trial and error. Is it worth it? It would be up to the buyer to decide. I purchased numerous GMP shoes because I know my size and found them as a steal. I had trial and error with the French and Italian shoes. Even with the return shipping, getting $400-$800 shoes for <$100 is for me, a definitely bargain.

Whenever I see this thread under my subscriptions, I jump straight to the rider boot shop website and THEN I check what the new post in the thread actually says.
