Have to be careful here though.....it's the ball to toe that is long - the heel to ball is pretty standard. I use a lasting tape (something we use to grade sizes in the factory....much more accurate than a tailors tape) and measure heel to ball, as that is the true indication of size.

When you sent me this pic (thanks BTW), I also edited in a line and if you do that on the A/E then move it over the Italian model, the length heel to ball is the same.

I sized these down 1/2 size in the 'sizes available', so a USA 11 is stamped 10.5 on the shoe.

I would say these shoes are not for trim feet.

Also, keep in mind, I do offer the ability to return for exchange/store credit. Just an FYI.

Thanks guys - I'll try to get some of the latest arrivals up quickly....but might be best to wait until next week. Working on it.....

Ron

ps - please don't pay much mind to my Rider Boot page until September....still learning this website stuff!

Your customer service and goods are excellent. I was simply unlucky. Regardless, both pairs were too large, which is my problem and not yours. I posted this as my personal opinion that may be valuable to others.

So I got the spectators today. Very happy with them - could have gone with either the 8.5D for a snug fit or 9D (which I got) for a slightly looser, but good fit. My first step, noticed the heel was loose and my heel popped out, but that immediately stopped with the second step. Really high quality leather and finishing. There is one issue with the shoes that I've already tried to take care of with some Shoe Goo and clamps:

500

I tried them on for two minutes on the carpet. Then I noticed the gap between the rubber and leather part of the heel on both shoes with the left one being worse. Hope the Shoe Goo does the trick! Crossing my fingers that after letting it sit overnight, it will be good. Second pair of Stuart's Choice/GMPs that I had to take the Shoe Goo to, but I'm going to happily buy more. At Ron's prices can't really complain.

Thanks Ron!

Oh damn.....I didn't notice that.

I have a pair of black monkstraps here in size 13 that I noticed the same thing on so I took them to my guy to nail the toplift back down.

These are not seconds.....everything came straight from the floor at the store, so that's strange.

But, please take them to your local guy and then send me the invoice amount - I'll cover that charge, no worries.

Thanks!

Ron

Appreciate it Ron - great service as usual. To make it crystal clear by no means was I complaining about Ron. His service is phenomenal. Just some weird shoe karma issue I have with the SC/GMP gods. I will let you know when I unclamp them tonight, but I hope my repair worked and a trip to the cobbler is unnecessary.... Hmmm. Maybe this blip will make Ron feel sorry for me. And give me first dibs on the 8.5/9s in this shipment!

Through the magic of Shoe Goo looks like the Specs are good to go. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif Now all I have to do is throw some Venetian on them and find an excuse to wear them. Thanks Ron! Waiting for more Rider merchandise to throw money at.

Spoke with Ron yesterday. Wanted to update everyone - Ron will likely update the shoe stock on his website late next week, likely Friday.

Hope this helps!

Just got my Crocs from Ron (leather, not colored plastic). I feel guilty...what I paid vs. what I got just isn't right. Phenomenal value and a beautiful shoe. Thanks Ron.
