Crappy layout! right margin is toooooooo much. Ad are even more than content. It's hurting my eyes.

Facebook and Google have tested the shit out of and optimized their sites to maximize the ad versus content ratio. The classified ads section looks like a crappy version of eBay.

I agree, this layout is terrible.

1. Right column is too thick/distracting
2. I can't seem to concentrate on what I'm reading, and I find it harder to find out who is posting
3. Doesn't work on iPhone properly

Seems less catered to people wanting to view / contribute content.

EDIT: Took me forever to find out how to edit my post. Also my avatar is definitely not mine.

I haven't read the whole thread, and I am 99% sure this has been said before, but I will share my opinion that there is too much spacing pretty much everywhere. Lots of empty white space. It looks nice, but it is not great for a forum...

I completely disabled avatars, now the 1-line posts are well-compressed.

I still don't understand why SF is one of the slowest-loading forums out there.

I agree with what most people have already mentioned. Overall, I find that there's just too much going on on the screen and for me that makes browsing the site quite un-enjoyable.

But on the plus side, I do like the threaded PM system as well as the new B&S format.
