Which of these fabrics would work best as solid navy Sport coat? If you tell me the ones that would NOT work, i'll remove them.

Very hard to see the pics but the first few certainly don't work, they are suiting patterns. You don't want any kind of pattern, but texture is good (hopsack or fresco).

How about #3 and #6? They're both herringbone. What about #5?

hahah, no worries. Just hazing you. I'd go with Manton's suggestion. From what I can see, I like #2. I prefer an even "all-over" texture to something like herringbone which creates a stripe effect. just avoid really smooth suit cloth.

or you can bag the navy idea and get a NON-NAVY solid jacket smile.gif
