I am looking for a product to hold my hair in a similar style to the mans posted and in a similar way without the high gloss shine that has been in since Mad Men started taking over.

If there are any questions please ask.

I have a very similar cut, and find that a small amount (dime) of American Crew Forming Paste does the job well. It's very low, "natural" shine and has a decent amount of hold and scent if you're worried about smelly products.

Just to clarify, is your hair currently that length on the sides/top?

Just about I think. Hair just needs a little tidy and I should be fine.
Probably need more length in the fringe though.

Thanks for the product.

Do you have any tips on the styling? In terms if hairdryer? Straighteners? Comb? etc.

Edit: I couldn't find the exact product you spoke about. Would you be able to direct me on this site please. http://www.justusmen.co.uk/index.php/manufacturers_id/32/filter_id/232

I have used Bumble and bumble sumotech, it works well.  No wet look and isn't too greasy once applied.

Oops, meant to say forming cream, not paste. Here's the link on the site- http://www.justusmen.co.uk/product_info.php/manufacturers_id/32/products_id/889?osCsid=g31cg9es63vu9j2ia32m4krgv0

Also, I have naturally thick hair, and shampoo every 4-5 days or so (conditioning otherwise) to keep my hair looking as such. If your hair is thick as well, you can probably use a mixture of your body's natural oils + whichever product you end up going with to achieve the look using only your hands. A brush, or comb doesn't work too well for a intentional bedhead, in my opinion.
