I was given the opportunity to the vew the site before it was launched. During beta the site was lightning fast. The main problems the adds and B&S were going to be fixed.
I and (I assume) many others would have complained if we knew the site would end up like this. Don't blame us.
FWIW I don't blame the mods one bit. They have ALWAYS been and continue to be fantastic hosts. I enjoyed SF for a good 3 years of my life. I visited the site almost everyday. The lag and spam were minor problems that the mods always attempted to fix. I think the owners/mods of SF joined the Huddler system without knowing, what they were getting into. I KNOW they purposely wouldn't do anything to ruin the experience and community of SF. As they seemed to enjoy the community themselves. I don't like those saying SF sold out. They did what they thought was best for the forum while trying to bring in some revenue that they as owners deserved. While I think SF as we know it is done, I KNOW the mods will do their best to fix the issues and bring a little of the old SF back.
