how will members be notified of these events? is their an "upcoming events" tab? also, i know in the old SF you could specify which region you are from. if we had a similar option, members could receive notifications of events within their respective regions and also for the regions they sign up for.

I'd like to throw my name in the ring for Hampton Roads ambassador to Styleforum. We're already the largest metropolitan area in the country without a professional sports franchise. We should at least have a SF ambassador.

I second this question - I've been hoping to have a get-together in Brisbane, Australia, for some time and it would be nice to have some support. I realise, though, that StyleForum's reach might extend only so far and no further!

I think there's a few Londoners here. Would be nice to meet up with some like-minded SFers, and also draw on their local knowledge.

I think this is a great idea as it will allow people to recommend suppliers/tailors etc that will be applicable to the area that may not get discussed as often in the context of general advice. As well as thrift-tips, local eccentricities and pointers that we can use to raise our game.
