Experience of Tailora shops in korea

Greetings,
I am from Japan and have been living in Korea for a last year. When I first came to Korea, I had no idea about apparels or fashion in general. However, living in Korea last year, I have found potential connections between fashion and myself and I am very happy about it.

I used to buy all my clothes from Itawon, specially shops called Coree, and Manchester
Coree"˜s manager could speak little bit of English and Japanese so that I could easily communicate with him, but there was a problem. We failed to build common ground about fashion due to difference in language, which led to an outcome that did not satisfy me. If you want just the basic, I recommend both of the shop.

Coree(82-2-795-0876)
Manchester(82-2-790-7112)

The price is about 750000 WON for 270g of golden tex VIP.

The other shop I visited was called Tailorable. Although it is placed on an outer area of Itawon, the interior of the shop and displays were nice and neat. The manager was one of the youngest among shops that I usually go. So it was easy to talk about the style I wanted it, and he easily understood. The price range for this shop is about same as shops that are located in Itawon.

Recently, they opended another shop in sudden area of Seoul . They use better materials to make suits. I went there few weeks ago and ordered Thomas Fisher suits .

I also have been to shops that are located in downtown hotel called Regent. This shop supposed to have longest history(that's what I heard ) and all hand made also. The price range was higher than Itawon

Around Regent area, competitor's prices are about same.

I also have visited "cheap" clothing shops, and realized why they are like that. It was like buying trash for $150. It is my personal point of view, some could see it differently about those cheap shops.

Thanks

Since you say you've been living in Korea for about a year, would you recommend getting a suit jacket altered there or would it be better to just have it altered at home before going there? And if the former, can you recommend a good place?
