I want to be like Rob

Thread Starter
Ok I want to get Rob Lowe's 'physique' as per his recent front cover on Vanity Fair.

http://socialitelife.com/a-shirtless...-photo-03-2011

Lets cut to the chase. What do I need to do in terms of diet and exercise? What does Rob do? I am few + a few more years his junior so I should already have a head start. Without being ghey he has great pecks, arms, collar bones and jawlines .

Definately no man love here but want to look good.

For about three seconds there, I was really, really terrified of what I might find in this thread.

He's cheating a bit on that magazine cover. He's propping his biceps up with his hands. He does his best to do something active every day and his favorite activities include skiing, surfing, tennis, basketball, dry-sand runs with push up intervals, or just “hitting it hard in the gym.” But, perhaps his most favorite activity is surfing, which he loves because of the sheer danger and excitement surfing presents. http://www.celebritydietdoctor.com/r...with-exercise/ If you want to look noticeably better do P90X. It works well, you won't have to spend time researching which combinations of exercises to perform since it's already done for you and it includes an eating plan. The simplest way of losing weight is to avoid any foods found in the middle aisles of the supermarket. Stick to the periphery - fruits, vegetables, some meat, some dairy. If you want the jawline, much of it will come from weight loss and you can tighten it up by doing facial exercises. Do a Youtube search on Jack Lalanne Face Exercises, there are 30 different workouts.

Serious. There's a thread dedicated to it in this section. The schedules are all worked out for you, so you play DVD 1 on Day 1, DVD 2 on Day 2, etc. It's a very effective beginning program that's a good workout and it's designed to show results quickly. I really like it.

P90x is a solid program. Very solid in fact, its well designed, with the very basic principles of fitness worked in. I recommend it.

Do it. You'll need a pull up bar, some dumbbells or resistance bands, and a pair of push up bars.
