Sutor mantellassi store in Rome???

sutor is out of business and purchased by a korean company to my understanding. There is a company from ex-sutor workers in Florence.

There's some sorta Korean company here making shoes supposedly from italy here in Korea. They're quite cheap for leather shoes in Korea, but the leather seems a bit hard and thin and the finishing has shit that shouldn't get past inspection. They do amazingly cheap mtm (sub 400 range).

Did you check out the ex-sutor guy as well while you were in Florence? I think their suede is great value for money.
