I went belt shopping yesterday for a new jeans belt and was having a little trouble determining size. I tried a 32 and 34 and felt that a 33 (never made) would have been perfect. The belt has 7 holes, and on the 32 I was on either 2 (a bit loose) or 3 (comfortably snug). On the 34, I was on 3 comfortably loose) or 4 (a bit on the snug side, but doable). It felt like there was some give to the leather, so I went with the 32, figuring eventually the third hole would be on the looser side, and I might even shift to the fourth. However, I am wondering whether I should exchange for the 34, and that I'm always better with it a tiny bit too long and if the third of seven holes looks too short.
