Which hole to use on jeans belt?

I went belt shopping yesterday for a new jeans belt and was having a little trouble determining size. I tried a 32 and 34 and felt that a 33 (never made) would have been perfect. The belt has 7 holes, and on the 32 I was on either 2 (a bit loose) or 3 (comfortably snug). On the 34, I was on 3 comfortably loose) or 4 (a bit on the snug side, but doable). It felt like there was some give to the leather, so I went with the 32, figuring eventually the third hole would be on the looser side, and I might even shift to the fourth. However, I am wondering whether I should exchange for the 34, and that I'm always better with it a tiny bit too long and if the third of seven holes looks too short.

The middle one should fit comfortably.

Should the middle one be comfortable now, and then I'd end up using one more in if/when the belt stretches, or should I be planning ahead for stretching?

Belts always stretch for me, so get the snug one. It should loosen up in time.

I'd err on the side of having too much overlap. Using the outer holes tends to look like you gained weight since buying the belt.

Snug fit, middle hole is perfect. I don't accept no subsitutes.

Gave me a bit of a startle there, you did. With all the anal talk and discussions of how to not be gay we've had going on lately, a "Which hole to use?" thread is all too timely.

Let me take this moment to propose that anal aficionados adopt the brown velvet jacket as an identifier. I shall have a bespoke jacket made with pearlescent, glittering wizard's sleeves.

Old boy, maybe you should set aside your homophobic tendencies for a while.

I had no idea Chan Wook Park was a homophobe. I suppose he's unlikely to join my brown velvet jacket organization. "For anal farmer," etc.

Uh, is it just me, or is this just about the most heterosexual thing that has been said on the forum for quite a while? (unless my understanding of male vs. female anatomy deceives me).

It's amazing how my tastes in belts and sexual intercourse with the opposite sex are so similar.

It's amazing how my belts and intercourse with the opposite sex intersect so often (oh, and I have the mask that goes with it
