Far better removed if you can do so completely and without damaging the boots.

Manufacturers need to stop placing labels everywhere - far too much of it and absolutely no need for them to be visible.

I'd probably remove the tag.

Grass and shit will get stuck in it, plus you know they were made in USA random people probably don't give a fuck where your shoes were made.
