Looking for Urban Fashion Writers

Hey,

We love this forum and just wanted to send a quick note. We over at itsnotforgirls are looking for a writer to join the team and write a couple of posts per week. Nothing too hectic. It would be ideal for someone who is interested in Urban Fashion, Sneakers and Japanese Fashion Trends and can spare a couple of hours per week.

I can give full details. Hopefully I am allowed to post this as I am not promoting anything. Please Mods remove if it's against the T&C's.

You can PM me for further details.

Thanks

Thanks for the replies

@tween_spirit thanks for the input. Actually, if you compiled a list of every post and categorized them under brands, proportionally the posts on Supra wouldn't be that high (in comparison to content as a whole). Thankfully I make a pretty good living of my "shit websites" and always love feedback. Is it just the site as a whole you think looks shit, the color scheme, the content, the name. Would love to hear more.

@Uncontrol The world probably doesn't need half of the shit that's on the internet. Not sure we are that hype. Maybe we are and I don't know what you mean. Thanks for the feedback.

Everyone else, would love to hear what sites you guys read around mens fashion/sneakers.

Yeah, so what's the point of a new project? Either do something first/unique or do it best. If you can't do either, don't do it at all.

Although that sounds quite noble, it doesn't actually make a lot of sense. If we followed your guidance, humas as a species wouldn't have evolved very far. Everyone would just give up because they were not first (that doesn't make a lot of sense, Google weren't first, Facebook weren't first but hey, I know, they were unique). Well, in a world consisting of 7 billion people, there isn't a lot of room for being unique. Thankfully there are a lot of rewards in life for people who are passionate, hard working and positive. There are a lot of people on the internet, therefore a lot of opportunities to get an audience for your website. I'll also let you in on a secret, there are big rewards online for being 2nd, 3rd, 4th or even 5th best. We live in a connected world with a lot of people looking for content online. Oh and most of the big fashion websites are just aggregating other peoples content, at least we try to get people who are interested in fashion to write for us. Thanks again for the replies.

Honestly, I think that if they guys here wanted to write, they would want to write for us. Actually, we do need a few SW&D writers. If you are interested, send us some writing samples, and an idea for a column, to Styleforum.net@gmail.com

Cheers,

Fok, co-owner and administrator, Styleforum.
