R&B covers of Beatles songs

Why are so many R&B covers of Beatles songs better than the originals?

I like the Beatles, but I would much rather listing to the following covers:

"Daytripper" -Hendrix
"Elanor Rigby" - Aretha Franklin or Ray Charles
"A Little Help From My Friends"- Joe Cocker
"Come Together" -Michael Jackson
"We Can Work it Out"- Stevie Wonder
"Gotta Get You Into My Life"- Earth Wind and Fire

Im gonna say this....i know ill catch a lot of flack, but to hell with it. I cant stand the beatles. they were great songwriters.....but horrible musicians and singers. I love most of their songs, when sang and played by someone else.

You are fully entitled to your incorrect opinion.

they are undoubtedly incredible songwriters, some of their songs are best done by them (by them I mean John Lennon), others are better when done by someone else.

the definitive Beatles cover was William Shatners "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds"

The most original interpretation (IMHO) of the Beatles:

There are better musicians out there. But Lennon and McCartney are without a doubt the greatest songwriters of all time IMO. And by the way, anytime I see one of those American Idol idiots covering a Beatles song I want to smash my TV. Horrible.
