Just Bought a Vornado Fan

The little sucker (or should I say blower) is impressive. It really moves air. It's rare when you're completely satisfied with something. Anyone else use them?

I've had two. One of them just died, after about 10 years....probably on about 80% of the time. It was a larger one. I'm pretty impressed but the motor just died on me.

I think I may just buy two of the smaller ones.....they're pretty non-conspicuous.

I got one of the smaller ones in beige. It would be nice if it were taller, or had some sort of stand.

the one i had that just died on me had a stand...you can make it floor height, about 2 feet or 4 feet high (it is a rigid stand).

Nice. I'm amazed how such a small fan can circulate so much air. I love this thing.

Vornados are great. Ive had mine for about 5 years now, but it's starting to croak. These move serious air, too: http://www.amazon.com/Lasko-Pro-Perf...0346034&sr=8-2

IIRC their serious moving of air matches their craving for amperage. I was shocked at just how many watts they pulled.

I have one on behind me right now

I haven't actually tried having a Vornado fan, but I've been wanting to buy. The comments here are quite encouraging, thank you.
