Dear Folks: As you may recall, in the late spring a giant lot of merchandise from Alan Flusser’s highest-end operation was consigned to me.
This was the midtown shop where he sold custom-tailored clothing made from the best cloths in the world, as well as shirts, ties and other accessories. The lot included over 500 items in the categories below. Some of it was sold at a live sale which (looked like this) in the Flatiron District at the close of April.
After that, I wanted it to go immediately to the forum, but a death in the family delayed me until now. So: tonight, it begins. The first bit is a selection of ties and cloth (not all of it by any means!) Check back often for additions and updates. Also, please post all queries in this thread rather than the subsidiary threads.
