That's the traditional viewpoint, I agree. As Hendrix said though, things have changed a little since before James Dean. Nevertheless I agree that this thread is not meant for white tees n jeans although that doesn't mean we can't wear them. It's a bit like a sandwich. I eat them, but wouldn't post them in a 'food pornz' thread.

Girls often seem to like the look though....

So I don't think Trompe is trolling as much as he is expressing a traditional viewpoint on t-shirts.

This means, however, that my MIL has seen me in my "underwear" frequently!

The fact that he's owned a menswear shop for over 40 years tells us all we need to know about his view on t-shirts.

Would have preferred a pattern in there somewhere to break up the monotony. Also the baby blue on pink thing makes you look a little Easter egg-ish (and that's coming from a preppy douche bag).

Yeah, I had a tie on earlier. Navy with a little tan flowers on it. It definitely helped in that department. I figured since I'm wearing chocolate colored pants, it would complete the Easter eggs and candy look.

I like the look, a confident one. Have you tried the same sweater but a size smaller?

I agree on the smaller size. I bought a medium as that's typically my size, but it turns out I should be wearing a small in BB. I'm going to see if my tailor can alter this for a slimmer fit.

irate, while the color sceme may not be perfect, i like it, and the fit is great.
