Ready for trip

I bought a new pair of pants (Banana Republic) and socks (JCrew), and I attempted to get a less boring picture than I had in the past. Unfortunately my wife wanted to leave to dinner and was not interested in my teaching her to use my camera for it, so it came out a bit blurry:

Since my last post, I also wore this (not casual, but oh well):

Thanks. The belt is from Col. Littleton. The cardigan I bought in Peru from a local label called Kuna.

Bateman, I think you could benifit from slightly more taper in your trousers legs.
You do look excellent already, but I think your outfit would look even nicer if those casual trousers wouldn't look like as if their leg opening was wider than their knee.

^ completely disagree...the leg opening already barely touches the laces on his shoes, at least in this particular pair. If the legs were tapered any more he would be able to tuck the pants directly into his shoes and it would look like he's wearing jeggings. Maybe the knee looks narrow because the fabric is bunching a little bit?

Really? I disagree. They already appear to sit at the top of the vamp of his shoes. What cut/model are those pants, P.B? The 484s?

Obviously lacking the regional feel, but you could probably score something similar at JCrew.
