WAYWRN: MC Casual Style - Page 570

I think we finally have someone else, apart from NOBD, who can do this odd thing, 'MC casual', really, really well.

Not really jrd, I bought this jacket ages ago. I was 17 at the time and didn't pay much attention to details like that yet. The fit and colour were pretty much the only things I worried about then. Now I'd go for 2.5 or 2 button jackets.

Jacket a little short/trousers a little long, and I don't think the shoes work in this context. The colours and denim pairings are nice! smile.gif

Ah yes, the jeans are raw and still unwashed so I had them hemmed (chain stitch ofc) an inch too long.

Usually I'm weary of combining a denim shirt with jeans but I gave it a try. White jeans/pants would have been the cookie-cutter way. Actually I think light gray trousers might have been better.

Take 2.

Pants still not hemmed, please to not harp on that. You may harp on the rest if you like.

Why? I agree with him. Its nothing damning, by any stretch of the imagination, but its an accurate critique.

stitch - shoes don't work with this outfit/pants. Everything is biz cas but the shoes are very casual. I know you're receiving conflicting advice here but that's the nature of the beast, there's good advice and there's bad advice.

Well, this time, he's made a shoe choice which doesn't work in a different way: the colour. If these had been a darker suede, it would probably work - the exact range of colours that would work would depend on what colour the trousers are, and I can't really see that. The shirt is much better all round.

+1, those shoes do not work with dark pants. Are those black pants, stitch?

Besides finding him irritating in general, his micro-criticisms do not really help anyone. His points are also subjective and since he has shown that he can't dress well, his opinions carry no weight.

Stich - I agree with the previous posters that a darker colour suede shoe would look better here. The shoes look nice individually but they are too light for the trousers. Alternatively you could switch the trousers for something in a lighter colour and keep the shoes. Shirt is nice.
