NYR, one of my favorit outfits of yours in the last few days/weeks.
The seersucker shirt is great!
I also love the color of your shorts.
What do you think, is it closer to Plum or Merlot Rivets? I suspect Plum.

No, duck is a plain weave.

This is duck:

^^

you're not wearing boat shoes on a boat are you?

Against my better judgment, I am.

The pocketsquare was a bad choice, shouldn't have taken that one.
The shirt sleeves are 1/3" longer than what I usually would wear to a jacket, but it doesn't bother me enough to get it fixed.

No way, it's a P28. If it were a J boat I would have been wearing this. teacha.gif

Erm I did then when I just woke up and goofed. What I posted as duck up there is actually broken twill which is left hand, right hand alternating. This is duck

I'd figured you just left spaces at the end of a line by accident and it had skewed it lol. I use a slightly different notation anyway. Basically what you're showing me looks like two wefts with the first heddle raised, two heddles with the second heddle raised, two with the first heddle raised. But unless there's four heddles, these are double strung wefts, running the shuttle twice, no? there's no alternation in the first two lines...

Yeah, that's right. Weaves can get goddamn confusing to describe.
