Apparently I am either the first or maybe even the only one to comment on this, but those colours are eye cancer material. I'd loose the tie completely with this outfit. Cheers

+1. Way over the top. Hot fuschia pants are questionable to begin with. Then add the hat, contrast collar, short sleeves, tie, and tan shoes. Burns my eyes, no offense NYR

I agree, it's just too much. I wasn't going to comment at all as it's pretty obvious, but I'll jump on the bandwagon.

Even by NYR's intergalactic standards, this one is out there.

This one seems to polarize. I like.

the belt seems OK

I think NYR's fit looks fine. I'll bet the pants are more of a true red rather than a fuchsia IRL. The tie is a perfectly normal rep tie. If he'd worn it with a navy blue suit, I'd bet that the people that don't like would like it just fine.

completely unrelated...what number do you see in this randomly chosen picture:

the only place that tie might work would be underneath two sets of turtle-neck sweaters.

Am I the only one who finds NYR's shoes to be particularly, umm, ladies-shoe-esque?

easy to say in Austria...not so easy in a crowded un-airconditioned NYC classroom.

Seeing how it's a landlocked country, you're wearing them away from the beach if you wear one on Austrian soil smile.gif . I don't feel comfortable in them, but they can definitely be done right, just not by me.

The rules are a bit different in the states, even in the northern parts of the country our summer temps tend to be from about 30-40c most of the summer.

Me too. A lot of men seem to be scared of colour. I think this works, except for the shoes, which I don't like a whole lot.
