Thank you! The vest is quite unique (I presume), as I purchased it from the display of a store that sells yarn, it was one of the employees that hade knitted it herself (took some persuasion to get her to sell it, and yet I got it real cheap ~ $20). The tie is a knit wool tie from YSL.

I like most of this, but I am of the opinion that boots call for longer pant legs than normal, not shorter.

Probably more a SW&D fit, but I haven't posted there in 5 years, so why start now. Wore this Friday morning to get coffee. Still cool at that time of the day, and I was on 2 wheels:

Love that blue buffalo check shirt, Gnat. Deets?

That jacket looks great on you. (On SW&D, I don't think they accept anything other than resident internet marketer ToJ).

Nice collection of frozen frogs.

Shame Imageshack is not viewable outside of the USA. .. http://www.styleforum.net/t/15626/imageshack-blocking-sf http://www.styleforum.net/t/165137/imageshack-issue

Suggest that people post their pics directly to SF, then they're viewable by everyone.

They get a bad rap from some folks, but I think they've got a decent cache of quality clothes if you look. Obviously, you looked in the right place. bigstar[1].gif

Navy blue polo shirt
Off-white linen trousers

I think a better fitting polo shirt would do wonders. You're a skinny guy and the polo hangs on you a little too loosely.

Jacket is Barutti, jeans are Levi's 511, loafers are Church's, and the polo is RL.

Not bad, but the jacket seems too large and a bit too long to wear with jeans. Of course, you would know better than I.

The jacket is kicking ass!!! The shoes: so-so. I'm sure there was a better choice in your closet (or should I say closets?).

Great colors, but I would probably think that your jacket is too big for you had I seen you in real life.

Cool! I love the combo, but how do you reckon it makes others perceive you? I dig this style a lot, but always find myself losing the tie in this super casual world. I feel like in my case it just crosses the line between being perceived as a man with his own style and a fashion-affected nerd. Of course, people who know me would be fine with it, but being a social person and often exploring new things and companies, I feel a little pressured into conforming with society at least in some ways. Often that means sacrificing some of my sartorial desires.

Is that an M5 or an M3? And awesome clothes as always! You have mostly OTR shirts, right?

That's likely a dumb question, but given I'm as much of a starter as can be, I'll ask anyway: By too large, do you mean around the waist, shoulders, generally? If's it's the waist, that wouldn't be a surprise since I've never taken it to a tailor yet.

It seems too large everywhere, i.e. unalterable. You could always post a better quality photograph and it would be easier to tell then.
