Yup. Its pretty good, but its **** for wind, which is a bit of a problem given that the wind was 40mph here today. I think I'll be buying another ugly ass bulletproof icelandic sweater as soon as I can find one that's not a cheap POS made for tourists. And this after I got rid of my old ones on forum advice...

*facepalm*

Pants could be let out in the seat a bit to get rid of the back break. At least I think that's the remedy for back breaks.

I have to say: the SNS sweater provided instant elevation of swag level. It's a great piece

I was really happy I picked the SNS up, l probably wouldn't have bought it normally, but everyone on here was saying I should. At some point I'd like to buy one of the Starks.

Re: Clark's. I spend all day on my feet, and since I've been Reykjavik I've been walking at least four miles daily, which will only increase. Theyre comfortable. I may buy a pair of tassel loafers, not yet sure.

Liam: From what I have seen of your style, I'm not really sure if tassle loafers is a good choice. How about a pair of beefy longwings with a dainite sole, or something along those lines? That way you can use them come winter, which you really can't with the tassle loafers.

And listen or gdl re the sweaters. Jackets can be wind proof, knits rarely are.

So here was my attempt at dressing reasonably nicely while accounting for Iceland, I was actually freezing in this, but I'll live. Wasn't sure about the pants at first, tighter than I normally do, but they seem to fit pretty well, imo. sorry the pics are a bit ****, but I'm working with a phone and the largest mirror in the house is about the size of my ipad.

Fit:

I'm a bit of a lurker on this thread and have followed your "evolution", as it were. Your looks have consistently improved and I don't want this to come across as overly critical.

It could be phone camera/angle/size of mirror in this pic, but I swear those pants look like you're wearing tights that are a size or two too big. You can clearly see the curvature of your thigh muscle to your knee and the widening of your calf muscle from your knee. I think the MC Casual Groupthink has gone too far in the slim fit direction if this look is acceptable. I have no idea what size shoe you wear, but they look absolutely enormous on the end of the that tiny leg opening (the fact that it's not the most attractive shoe, as many, many, many have mentioned, aside). And, to be honest, most of the pants I've seen you wear seem too skinny at the leg opening for your large-ish feet/shoes.

I really like the style of the sweater, but I feel it may be a skosh too small (probably not a even full size). You can clearly see a line of demarcation along the top of your pants; it's also a bit tight around your pecs. Maybe a tight undershirt could alleviate the pecs issue.

But, otherwise, kudos to you for making a conscious effort to improve your style and having the balls, for lack of a better term (especially considering your tight trousers), to chronicle your journey online in a forum of nitpicking men's clothing dorks (finger pointed straight back at myself).

Agreed that tassel loafers aren't the answer. Second on the longwing. Amen to the jackets for windproof, sweaters for a layer of warmth point.
