^ These seem like nice pieces individually, but for some reason the combination isn't doing it for me.

EDIT: I think I know what it is. Feels like the top half is summer and the bottom half is winter. Also, there doesn't feel like enough contrast between the jacket and the shirt to balance the contrast with the denim and shoes.

I like. Pretty awesome.

Are there and MC casual blogs out there? I work in a casual office and want more inspiration for a casual (not sw&d) wardrobe. Most of the blogs I follow are geared more toward suits. I like this thread but the frequency of updates is low.

In principle this should work, but the fit seems off. It looks like the jacket is trying to run away from your neck. I think this was mentioned in the normal WAYWRN thread as the collar gap.

I also second the color scheme, but I think if the fit was better, the color scheme would be less of an issue.

edit: jeans, shirt and shoes are great though. Good choice on the extra button.

In principle I like ian's fit as well.  Something seems strange about the proportions of the jacket, though, esp. the neck area.

I think some of this has to do with your athletic body type and the way your chest is shaped, though. It seems like the jeans are so slim compared to your hulking torso.  I can't quite put my finger on it.

Also, is this a jersey material?

Well, if you're going to rip on someone's fit, you gotta drop one of your own to get ripped on.

I've basically stopped wearing any of my striped sweaters since joining SF. I put them on, look at them, and then bail for a solid. But today I though hey, why not. Outfit for early T-giving with the grandparents (approaching 95 and still cranking).

^^ Looks fine. I'd just say the same as EMartNJ's last fit... you've got shades of brown and then a black/white/grey sweater that seems off. I'd stick with earth tones like orange, green, maroon, or something instead. Striped sweater looks good on you, maybe on the short side (as are the pants).

IanGP - agree with teh others, something about the fit looks off. I think you have a wide neck?

Thanks! The sweater is navy and the stripes are shades of blue. Black would be a bad choice here.

I really like this!  What jacket is this?

That's a good point. I got that sweater 70% off at Brooks and it fits so well I couldn't resist taking it out for a spin but in the future I'll definitely pair it with grey/charcoal pants. I think grey flannel and black shoes would do the trick.
