Nice. I too got my first Raleigh about the age of 10 (so 30+ years ago), but that's long gone. I wouldn't have been able to use it now anyway, as it had a smaller frame. Sadly Raleigh is not made in Nottingham anymore, so the quality isn't what it used to be - even though the design for these (Danish commissioned) ones is still there.

Luckily my Raleigh is adult sized. For about the first year I had it I had to use a "pedal conversion kit" that was essentially two thick wooden blocks for each pedal that was held on with wide thick rubber bands. lol8[1].gif

Keeping the leather jacket theme:

Cool, where is yours from?
The shirt is a bit too formal for the rest though imo.

I'd like to say TOJ and impress everyone but the jacket's actually from Zara. That said, it looks ok I think.

RE the shirt, yes it would be better if it was a popover. It is a pretty bright pink/baby blue tattersal check with a BD, so it's a bit more informal than maybe it looks in that pic.

90's F/33C here in NYC - suits today are a no-go . . .

I think the purple shirt jives fine with the jacket and jeans.

Yesterday was linen trousers - today, tropical wool, cut loose. We'll see which is more comfortable in this heat and humidity . . .

I know it's been over a month since that post. But you can do that in Melbourne too.

First post to this thread. (Or maybe second.) Felt so hyper-charged after wearing my Loud Tie fit all day at work, I simply had to change into something into more comfortable when I got home.

Not the greatest quality pic. I have been a little disappointed in the iPod 5's camera. Grainy in all but the best lighting conditions.

Old basics: APC jeans and Alden suede chukkas.
New basics: M65 cotton jacket and Zanone wool knit.
And new bike, as my old Pashley recently was nicked.

Lovely wheels. Raleigh Superbe Tourist with Sturmey Archer 3-speed I venture? Just lovely.
