It's not tweed, but cashmere and quarter lined. Besides, living in Jakarta you hardly ever are outside, but you go from one air conditioned environment to the next: home, car, office, restaurant, shopping mall, etc. etc.

Nice. Was that "train wreck thread done for fun? Or was it the typical douche bag attitude that if a suit isn't worn it's trash?smile.gif

Some of each. Depends whose opinion you ask. I found it fun - my wife actually did a fit for it as well.

I quite like the look of a blazer and jeans. Dressy enough for most places outside work but still laid back enough not to look like an ass in a nightclub. Well done

I'm the opposite; I find blazer + jeans to be a clash of formality. Really casual blazers (e.g. linen) I don't mind as much. Several people have told me this viewpoint of mine sucks though so I'm probably just being stupid.

A very simple solution to this discord is for them to wear blazers and jeans, and you not to, and fit people not to do so to your birthday party, if they remember our isn't your favourite.

Thus, everyone feels good.

I actually think the problem with sport coats with jeans is that you risk looking like an ass in a nightclub.

In AZ, you risk looking like an ass any time you wear one. Very sad.

Anyways, as for church yesterday... the girlfriend and I. Sorry for the horrendous picture. Massive failure as my camera wasn't near my and she was demanding some pictures to send to her parents.
