Thanks, guys!

The coat is Isaia. It is a wool silk combo, I bought it four months ago and have been dying to wear it.

LOL at the Shell comments. I'm good for shoes now, but I do have to admit that these new shoes have got me wanting some more round lasted shoes as opposed to all the aggressive lasted shoes I already have.

Maybe. I still love my GG's. Would never trade them.

I'm going to reveal something very embarrassing about myself. I suck at tying shoes. I always have. This is one of the reasons for my love of loafers of all kinds.

also, jrd, i agree about the sleeves. i had asked the tailor to shorten them, but she left them longer than i had wanted. will wear a few times and then bring it back.

P.Bateman - thanks for your thoughts on Gustin. Think I will look into them for some nonstandard colors/fabrics.

laugh.gif It's all right. And it's very easy to make a good knot. Just change the first bit of the knot. In stead of left over right, do right over left (or the other way around, depending on how you start). You don't have to change the complicated loop thing after that; keep that as it is. Try it. My eyes were opened after thirty years... smile.gif

Sport coat as outerwear for the mild autumn

3qlbou9.jpg
Navy Zegna fine waled corduroy SC, unfused Vincenzo Di Ruggiero shirt, Drakes cashmere scarf, M. Cilento unlined deerskin gloves, Edward Green Dark Oak belt, PT01 flannel pants, C&J Chelsea boots, Sub

Apologies for the bad lighting and the pitti gloves in the breast pocket, but it's gotten nippy enough here that they do come in handy when biking. Also, the pants may look too short due to the hand in pocket. More precise fit in pic below:
