Maroon pants with a dark jacket. Red accents in the shirt.
I think this is a good "sharp casual" look.

Here is an interesting attempt at grey jacket with khakis. Does it work?

Maybe not the best example of tweed with jeans, but this is a combination I plan to do more of.

Here is the dreaded navy jacket with grey pants. Too close to the security guard look?
Almost no one can pull this off, including myself.

Raspberry & lilac make for interesting - if controversial - bedfellows...

You're barking to the wrong tree then, your point of view is too different from the forum's mainstream and even more apart from the orthodoxy.
IMO, you've too much to read if you don't get nauseous from looking at those photographs.

Nauseous?
LOL, this thread will shed some light about why I think most SF outfits make people look like buffoons at the office.

Most of the stuff that is SF "approved" either looks comically dorky in real life and/or is overpriced.
The greatest irony is that they are anything but stylish.
They look like they belong on the set of a Jane Austen period piece.
I mean look at these people. No offense, but they are dressed like court jesters,
not the captains of industry they think they look like.

Banana effing Republic is your better alternative.

Given the choice between a trilby and one of the mall looks you posted, I choose suicide.

I mean, no offense, but nothing says "sharply dressed" like overpriced clothing made in China...dontchaknow?

I think I understand now.

Reevolving is an economic hitman. He's paid beaucoup bucks to spam this forum with propaganda in favor of cheap clothes, which subjugates the third world in economic misery. Or perhaps he owns stock in landfills.

BR is not cheap, but the 40% off sale makes it more sensible.
I just ordered a load of stuff from BR.
The stuff lasts for years, and is bulletproof.
Like JCrew, BR is slim cut, stylish, and not outrageously priced.
Most of all, you don't look like an internet jester in their outfits.
I much prefer their mall look over looking like used car salesmen from the 1970s, Pee Wee Herman or Erkel in WAYWRN.
