That seems like an odd observation to me as I've never put a belt on going toward the right. Mens shirts and pants always have the placket going that way as well.

Thanks guys! Interesting discussion about the belt - the pants I am wearing have the loop to keep the belt buckle in place (such as this one):

If I want to use it and not spend 2 minutes undoing my belt when I go to the toilet, this is the direction the belt buckle has to go.

Nice. I think this would look better with a darker belt to break up the lighter top and bottom.

I agree that my first choice would have been a tan leather or braided belt (if I had one), but I just liked the casualness of the cotton belt.

Great look, too! While I am happy that it is our turn with nice weather here as well, I am jealous clothes-wise on people who can wear sweaters and fall clothes.
