Believe it or i am usually jaded from reactions because I dont dress for them.there are certai. Aesthetics in my head that I constantly try to execu. In real life. Sort of playing the "if I had a rtw menswear line what would it look like" game. You might be right about going with a solid blue option. Didnt think about that. I know bastard stripes are not the sf stastandard.

I hesitate to endorse the striped odd jacket, but it's not bad here.

Just noticed me and CP are wearing nearly the same outfit (shetland sweater, ocbd ( i think ), casual pants, and a waxed cotton jacket. SF groupthink or Michigan superiority? icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Must be something in the water up here as I also had on a shetland waxed cotton jacket today (no OCBD for me though).

Once again a question regarding your preferences in how to wear your clothes, second button always done up?
No, usually I unbutton the first two. No idea why I didn't today. I unbuttoned it as soon as i saw the picture though : )

Yeah, Galways are perfect for everything except formal suits and shorts.

Waist let-out #2. Again, much happier with the fit. Sunlight washed out shirt a bit.

Wearing my oldest sweater today. it was a pre-SF purchase but one I made when I first started updating my clothing a few years back. It is a light cotton/angora blend and works really well in these "in between" days in Michigan in the low 50s. Enjoy your weekend folks.

I think it looks fine.

The stripe/colorway is derived from suiting, but the the rumpled, unconstructed coat is much more casual than any business suit & works well with worn denim. These stripes can be woven & tailored to span a wide range of formalities today; not so 10 or 20 years ago.

I see the jeans were rolled up to different lengths. Were you cycling?
