Lol I know, I was just weirded out because that's what I study and I was just translating a bit of the volsungasaga about sinfljoti before I checked the forum.

And now I need wine cords.

Looking good!

That's much nicer than I dressed for our blizzard--I'm wearing jeans, an OCBD, a shawl collar cardigan, and Bean Engineer boots.

Thank you, gents. They're BB Milano model, which are lower-rise than most BB models. If you want the same color in something a bit less slim-cut, but still slim, order the Thompson version online (they're only available online - none in the stores). One word of warning - inseams on Milanos run shorter than expected - definitely cut for "no break".

I actually have three Milano fit chinos, a decent fit but I actually prefer mine even slimmer.

Definitely, I'm in the same boat. I have my eye on a pair from Howard Yount...

Problem is, I don't wear casual all that often. Priorities frown.gif

same here. i might wear em a half dozen times all season, and at least half of those times chinos/khakis would work just as well for the fit. there were some really nice ones at RL last i was there, but i really could not justify it. maybe next year just one pair of medium brown cords will be in order.

+1. Something like a Foo scoring system from the good taste thread might be helpful (even though, MC casual has broader scope, so it is not as easy).

this thread is bad enough without Foo's giant head being involved...
