THIS IS NOT A GRAMPA COAT!! IT IS AN AMAZING AWESOME YOUNG PERSON COAT!!!

but i see what you mean about the pants now. i do think though that this coat works well will dress pants, maybe just not these ones.

lol, no i dont wear jeans for many reasons. most of all comfort. i do wear khakis/chinos on occasion though. either way, i think this jacket goes quite well with dress pants, particularly donegal, and flanel too. i think its really just worsted that is throwing it off.

i also think you just have to see this jacket IRL to really get it. oh well.

2nd. The shirt jacket is in conflict with the rest of the tfit. It belongs with jeans, chinos, or cords, not slacks.

Stitchy, I like the jacket, but my first thought (before I read the other comments) was that it wasn't working with the rest of the fit. Cords would work nicely. A chunkier shoe and less fussy shirt, too.

thanks, glad to hear that.

i usually wear it over a v-neck merino sweater, that is over a solid blue oxford. and usually with suede shoes. looks a lot better. i wore it today more out of utility as a jacket. grabbed it from the closet as i was on my way to take the kids bowling. i probably should have used restraint and not posted the pic. ah well.

Ah, Project Stitches in Jeans... Jeans can be quite comfortable, but you have to wear them longer than twenty minutes, Stitches. smile.gif You have to show them who's the boss.

lol, good luck. i have had many pairs of jeans, worn for well over 20 minutes. they just are not for me, vut you are welcome to try and change my mind.
