It was cheap, and I was tempted, but I realized the coat was too warm for San Francisco. I'd get to wear it for maybe a month every year.

Funny you should mention the manufacturer. It was in a hipster shop which tries to give off that first-world-made vibe, and I asked where it was made. As the clerk started answering, sure that it was US-made, I found the Made In China tag. She adjusted mid-sentence to suggest that everything there was "pretty much designed in LA or San Francisco." This would cover most of the Gap/Old Navy/Banana Republic line, too!

Not quite a "shaggy dog" sweater, but close. It has that "barnyard" aroma still. Ahhhhhhh! smile.gif The color is a natural grey.
