WAYWRN: MC Casual Style - Page 73

PT - if I may say, the most obvious consistent issue I see with your outfits is the COLORS, they're either just the wrong ones for you, or they're all over the board, both in terms of loud or subtle but particularly the way you combine your colors and patterns are just way off. It's like you have all these items but no idea how to match them together so instead of them working together, they actually create an uncomfortable dis-harmony.

example, the pic you just posted. The hat is a nice pattern and color because it's light enough to contrast with your skin, but then the shirt is just a very muted boring color that doesn't really match your skin tone, and the hat, shirt, and pants, are so similar in color but not quite, so it's just lifeless, and then you put a dark hard belt and shoes against it so they stand out too much... it's the opposite of what should be done... either lighten the belt and shoes so they harmonize with the pants, or go with darker pants. then with that shirt, go with a color like blue/navy that will work against it in contrast but in a complimentary way...

it's so hard to just explain the 'eye' but I consistely look at your pieces and there's not so much something wrong with each individual thing as the combination of them all together that has me shaking my head thinking 'why that with that?'

example - see in the pic Urbancomposite posted above how he has a similar set of colors with browns and creams, but the pants are darker, and then the blue shirt brings it all together, and the dark jacket ties in with teh belt and shoes so they're not out there all on their own, plus that brown jacket goes with his hair and skin...?

I was looking for a Barbour, but just couldn't find one that completely met my wishes. This is a Pal Zileri Concept.

Tetbury in snuff suede with double leather soles. I like Sutor, probably better than my Tetbury's...

Relaxed Autumn Saturday...

... yes, the T underneath is deeply uncool. But I like the extra warmth & it's one less shirt to iron! :)
