My girlfriend and I bought that sweater in blue for her dad's birthday. He loved it.

'Preciate the feedback boys, furo, those before and after pics are sure convincing.
The jeans were APC NS, that have stretched to ****. They used to be one cuff about an inch and a half, now I have to do two rolls, and they are what they are. As far as the Epaulet pants, I'm having them all hemmed this summer. The 10 oz duck canvas I;m not sure about. That's the ones from today, the bright blue, plum red and the green pair...the weight is substantial and they actually hold a nice double cuff. Perhaps if I shortened them a touch they'd look a bit cleaner with the double cuff on them?

they don't hold a cuff well, that's the thing. if you shorten the cuff you'll have to roll em 3x, and it'll be even beefier and more unappealing.

Isn't the solution to the NYR cuff problem to get them hemmed 1.5" long and flip them up, maybe even sew them so they don't bow out and look like boats?

I know NYR knows what he likes and will do what he wants, but his cuffs often look too big and lazy--more "didn't feel like hemming these" than "I like cuffs"

things, i don't get.

yea pretty much. it's hard with duck fabric though because it's so thick.

And the shoes?

The shoes are suede loafers from Alden, that Tom and Leather Soul ordered for me. If I have no said it before, Tom and LS are awesome to deal with .

I don't like cuffing on non-denims at all, and while i don't mind NYR's jeans cuffs (although I also think they are too big), I really don't think it works with these other, lighter, fabrics.

I'm not too sure about this. I'd got a pair of those french blue duck canvas chinos and they've been holding a 1" single cuff pretty well without much flaring at all. :)

I chose a simpler approach to shortening my EPs. I had my tailor hem them to the desired length and add a 1 3/4" cuff. Worked for me.. :nodding:

Yeah, NYR, I really think a smaller, less bulky would look great!
