Snug implies tight and uncomfortable which it is not. Atleast not to me.  Actually the GQ look is what I was going for. Am I generally a gq guy? No.. but there are some looks I dig, this being one of them. No matter our differences though, thanks for the insight. The purpose of posting on forum's is getting honest opinions. Stitchy, did you try cuffing your pants? that might help take away from the narrowness on the bottom. I bought the urban slim fit chinos from jcrew and I have the same issue with the narrow leg opening so i cuff them and it works better. give it a shot! doesnt hurt right?

these are levis made and crafted, the leg is an ankle hugger, even a cuff wont change it. unless i tried cuffing it at the knee, its a little wider there.

Cotton top, wool bottom.
Navy cotton sport coat (corduroy?), cotton shirt and sweater
Wool pants and socks
Herring shoes (yeah, I know I need more shoes)
Some day I'll be able to take clearer pictures... but you get the idea.

I like this look, but I think my personal preference would have been a dark brown or camel sweater instead of the navy. Just a little too much blue w/ the navy pants. Great colors in that jacket!
