Somewhat casual. Was pretty cold in MI today and wanted to stay casual but still dress up for my grandmother's birthday (75!). Hope everyone had a good weekend and, for those affected by the storm, I hope the recovery is going well and you are safe and sound.

PS, yes, they are jeans and I wore brown suede chukkas.

 

Love the jacket and the boots, but I don't think the pants work with the jacket - I would really suggest something narrower, or at least tapered, in raw denim - and whatever you're wearing underneath the jacket looks like it needs to stay hidden...

Not sure how we all feel about double breasted cardigan sweaters...

That they are interesting, aesthetically reasonable, and therefore should be worn.

 

Though that one looks like it may have seen better days (might just be the mirror)

^ Was dust in the sunlight coming through the room. I have literally only worn it twice :X. It was from Lands End Canvas on deep deep discount (like I spent more money on my breakfast this morning cheap) and is made of mercerized cotton. In retrospect I wish I would have gone with a small but I wear it mainly for comfort.

I had seen that cardigan on the Land's End site and was curious about it. Your pictures make it look much more casual (and better) that the ones that were on the site. I think it looks really good and would be the perfect sweater for lounging around the lodge on a chilly fall day.

citan, i think i would like it better with buttons that were not metal. outside of that, i have no issue with it.

That looks like a hunting lodge for rich weirdos.
