WAYWRN: MC Casual Style

Thread Starter
There has been a lot of talk about the inappropriateness of casual shots in the WAYWRN thread. Yet, that is what many of us wear more often than our suit-and-tie ensembles. Most of you'd agree that posting in the SW&D sub-forum is not an option. I've tried to assemble most of the casual fits from the past month and re-post them here. Hopefully, from now on, if you want to discuss casual MC style, this will be the thread for it. Please, feel free to post any and all critiques that you have as well as photos of your recent fits.

It's Saturday, so I wore jeans with a jacket. I did try a pocket square but still it looks weird to me.

While posting, I found I had worn almost the same style last weekend.

Maybe you should show everyone how casual is done best. I'm sure you could. Although, casual may be for us, less fortunate people, who drink beer at night, instead of cocktails for lunch.

A lot of work went into that- great, let's hope it sticks. The louche business dress shot of edmorel is legend itself. funny, I find it more reasonable than a tie without a jacket.

WTFAYWRN? This is like the aversion therapy scene from 'A Clockwork Orange (Pants)'. Every picture has at least one element that's trying too hard, except for niidawg (maybe) and acridsheep. Check yourselves. You're making the SW&D guys look right, and FNB just soiled his sheets.

First of all, I wasn't doing a best of, just collecting all casual shots from last month's WAYWRN. Secondly, this is a different style of dressing. While bright colored pants may seem like trying too hard to you, to me they look interesting. Each person has his own personality and it may be expressed in many ways; at SF we express it partially through our choice of clothes. For example, when I wear red pants, I feel natural and comfortable. Spoo looks great in his colorful trousers, he's having fun and not taking himself too seriously. I prefer that to the CBD. That's not to say I don't like CBD, which focuses on fit and proportions rather than color and texture. It's all very interesting and worth mastering. By the way, this one's my favorite:
